Thinking about scaling up your side hustle? It may be time to start sourcing BULQ pallets! But, what do you need to keep in mind before you receive your first delivery? Read on for our step-by-step BULQ pallet guide.
Step 1: Pre-Purchase Preparation
For those looking to grow their businesses, pallets are a great way to source more inventory at a cost-effective price point. But, there are a few things to know before hitting that “purchase” button.
First, familiarize yourself with BULQ’s shipping cost, which is a calculated rate determined by the pallet’s size, weight, and distance from its final destination.
Second, make sure you have enough space to store your order once it’s delivered. Especially for resellers that have previously only purchased cases, we encourage testing the waters with one pallet before ordering multiples at a time.
Third, understand BULQ’s pallet delivery requirements. Unlike cases, which can be dropped off at any time, pallets require scheduled deliveries. In order to coordinate delivery, you must include the name of the receiving customer, a regularly-checked email address, and an active phone number. Keep in mind, if a BULQ or shipping company team member can’t get ahold of you at the time of delivery, your pallet may be delayed or marked “refused,” making it ineligible for a refund. Step 2: Tracking Your Pallet
All BULQ pallets are shipped using a third-party logistics provider. Although total shipment time can vary based on location, most pallets arrive within 4-7 business days. As with all BULQ orders, you’ll receive an order confirmation email with a tracking number to help estimate your pallet’s arrival.
Once the order is placed and fulfilled, a third-party provider will ship your pallet to a local freight forwarding service for delivery. This will be reflected as “Transferring to Delivery Terminal” and “Checked into Delivery Terminal” statuses in your tracking information. Once this happens, the shipping facility will call your provided phone number to schedule delivery.
Step 3: Receiving your Pallet
Your order will arrive on a freight truck that includes lift gate service. That means you won’t need any special equipment to unload the pallet. However, keep in mind that pallets are large (measure approximately 48”x40”x42”) and often heavy. Be sure to have plenty of space cleared out to receive and unbox the merchandise.

What to Do if There’s a Problem With Your Pallet Delivery
If you notice damage or improper handling of your BULQ pallet during delivery, be sure to note it in your Bill of Landing (BOL). You will be asked to sign your BOL once the delivery is complete. You should also take photos to document these damages before unboxing your merchandise.
If there’s an issue with your actual delivery, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org within 24 hours. DO NOT refuse the order, as refusal charges will be applied. No refunds will be issued for orders refused at delivery or for failing to schedule delivery with our third-party freight carrier.
