BULQ’s Inner Mom-ologue: Sarah on Being a Mom

With Mother’s Day just around the corner, we wanted to honor the wonderful women who helped shape us and those who are now shaping their own families. Welcome to BULQ’s Inner Mom-ologue, a series of short interviews with BULQ team members as they share what “Mom” means to them.

Sarah Minukas, Lead User Experience Designer

How do your children inspire your work?

After my girls were born, I see people in a different way than I did before, as someone’s child. This perspective has allowed me to have a deeper level of empathy when listening to needs or challenges, and building new products.

What’s your favorite part about being a mom?

Being part of all of their firsts, walking, first day of school, I love their honest reactions to new things and watching them grow into little people.

What’s your best tip for other working moms?

A good under eye coverup and dry shampoo can go a long way to making you feel human after many sleepless nights! But most of all, with all the directions you are being pulled everyday, remember that you are enough, and you’ve got this.
